Essential herbal tea in the pantry – cold-combating

Is the temperature in your office colder than in a refrigerator? Different people are sensitive to temperatures in different ways. Some people naturally have a lower tolerance for cold, while others may feel especially chilly during their menstrual cycles or when they are seated directly under an air conditioning vent.

In addition to bringing our own jackets, it is a good idea to prepare beverages that help combat the cold. Ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, red dates, and brown sugar all have properties that can help keep us warm. We can slice fresh ginger on the spot, or use ginger powder, or ginger tea bags as alternatives.
However, it’s important to note that these ingredients have warming properties, so they should be avoided if you exhibited heat-related symptoms such as excessive body heat, such as a sore throat, dry mouth, bad breath, or hard stools.

Ginger black tea with cinnamon
Effects: dispels cold, warms the stomach and relieves pain
Ingredients: 5g black tea (can also use tea sachet), 3 slices of raw ginger, 1 stick of cinnamon, a small amount of brown sugar
Preparation: Put black tea, ginger slices and cinnamon into a thermos or teapot, add 500ml of hot water and steep for 15 minutes, and add a small amount of brown sugar to taste.
